I am pleased to report there are no longer road works outside the War Memorial Hall and access to the Trading shed should be much easier.
Please don’t forget to renew your membership. Get in touch if you need the bank details or go along to the Trading shed to renew, we will be happy to see you.
We have had a disappointing response so far on the talk we are having on Thursday 14th May. David Standing gave us a fabulous talk last year on Gilbert White gardens. This talk on ‘the pleasure of weeding’ is a light-hearted look at the job we love to hate. Honestly, it could be a game changer for many of us. David will have tips, tools and techniques on this back breaking chore.
He will include practical methods on how to speed up the process with time and money saving tools. I will definitely be attending, as I need all the help I can get! Please let others know, who you think may find this interesting, all are welcome. The charge is minimal as we only want to cover our costs.
We will have a raffle and teas as usual and further details are on the advert.
Also a reminder of the details of the Wisley gardens visit. That will be a lovely day out, so please book your place with Gillian Rose as soon as possible. gillianr999@gmail.com
